New Things:

The world we lived in prior to COVID-19 has slipped through our fingers, but God is providing all we need to sustain us on this new journey. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses the new things God is doing in our midst, and lists the gifts God gives us when we are made new in Christ. He highlights the behaviors and habits of Old Testament prophets to show what they did to gain God’s perspective on the world around them. As we choose to believe God, and seek the Holy Spirit's direction, we will gain the discernment we need to navigate our current situations.

New Things - Jesus is Lord:

We want to practice saying YES to the Lord, even though we’re walking in pathways that are new to us. He shares insight on the heavenly realms and the reality of the spiritual forces at work around us, all of the time. God knows the challenges and obstacles in front of us, and He’s prepared to overcome them!

In the end times, the Bible says there will be increasing lawlessness and false prophecies, and we see this happening in the news today. Pastor Allen Jackson offers a biblical perspective on topics including COVID-19, immigration, healthcare, riots, protests, mass shootings, and lawlessness, showing how our world needs a heart change only Jesus can provide. He then discusses the new things God gives us, when we yield our lives to Him: a new life, a new family, a new hope, a new hope, a new name, a new present, and a new future. Throughout the Bible, God redeems and renews cultures, and He can do the same for ours today.
